August 2019 Show: "Nooks and Crannies Around Virginia, Roads That Have Crossed My Path"

July 05, 2019

August 2019 Show:

"Nooks and Crannies Around Virginia: Roads That Have Crossed My Path" by Danny Mulvena.

From the artist: "I love the process of painting. The hope that you can convey the feelings the scene in your head produced. I'm less concerned about light and shadow and composition than I am about telling the story that entered my mind when I saw the scene. Will the infinite range of stories and feelings survive being reduced to a finite rectangle of paper slathered with paint? Sometimes yes - sometimes no."

Danny's masterful watercolor paintings of Virginia are a must-see! View them in person and learn more about the stories and the artist.

Please join Danny for his Opening Reception and Community Art Walk: Saturday, August 3rd from 4 to 7 pm. Meet the artist and enjoy light refreshments. Danny's artwork will be on display and for sale during the months of August and September.
